  Participated in the Groot Trek from the Eastern Cape to Natal. She was a girl of five when her parents helped to found the town of Pietermaritzburg. Married #36 Samuel Liversage Jnr on 23 June 1851 in the house of J Boshoff (the local marriage officer) in Pietermaritzburg.
